Neal graduated from Loughborough University in 2007 and completed his Masters Degree in Town and Country Planning at Anglia Ruskin University in 2010. He was elected a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute in 2013.

Neal has seven years experience in Town Planning. This experience was gained at Cambridgeshire County Council and more recently Sevenoaks District Council, before joining Robinson Escott LLP.

Neal has experience in both development management and planning policy. He has undertaken instructions relating to:

  • Small – medium scale residential proposals.
  • Rural planning including farm diversification and agricultural permitted development.
  • Discharging planning conditions.
  • Development proposals in the Green Belt including replacement dwellings and extensions.
  • Changes of use in town centres.
  • Policy research and land availability assessment.

As well as managing his own case load, Neal is also assisting senior members of the team in a number of larger scale, more complex projects.
