Planning permission obtained on behalf of Asprey Homes from the Secretary of State following a Public Inquiry. The Secretary of State allowed the construction of 800 dwellings on a 14 hectare (34 acre) Green Belt site on the basis that a serious housing shortage in Bromley and the absence of sites identified as part of a 5 year supply constituted the very special circumstances necessary to justify an exception to Green Belt policy. |
